I found out yesterday that the mother of my best friend growing up has cancer. She went in for her yearly exam and four days later she was in surgery. They are hoping that they got it all and that she does not have to go through radiation or chemo. I made this card for our family to give her.

I know another post with no new pics....but today I am spending the day at my neighbors house and we are going to be making cards and projects all day long. Hopefully within the next day or so I will have a lot of new pics to share with you. Well off to play....

Well I just got back from the beach yesterday. We had a great time. We drove most of the day Monday so we only got to spend a little time at the ocean before we had to meet my grandparents for dinner. We spent the whole day Tuesday at the water park. The kids had a blast. I did too until I got back to the camper and realized I had a severe sunburn. Tuesday night we played Bingo at the campground. Then Wednesday we spent the whole day at the ocean. Aiden (my 2 yr. old son) loved the water while Kaley (my 6 yr old daughter) and Mckenzie (my 5 yr old daughter) played in the sand. Early Thursday morning (3 am) I realized that I had gotten sun poisoning and had to go to the local ER. Needless to say I got a lecture for not wearing sunscreen and some meds and I was on my way. We drove all day Thursday. For the most part we had a blast. The weather was great and the kids had fun. I cant wait till we go back next year.

Sorry I have been MIA lately. I have been having a lot of problems with my back lately. I ended up in the emergency room last night with swelling in my spine and in extreme pain. They did xrays and an MRI and found out nothing. They have no idea why i am swollen and in so much pain. They ended up putting me on steriods, a muscle relaxer and some pain meds and they are hoping that it all goes away in a few days. I will post new pics as soon as I get them uploaded to the computer. Hope everyone else is doing well.

3 Fer Friday

This is the card I made for my son's 2nd birthday. He loves Dino's right now. He picked out the paper and the stamp.

My daughter Kaley needed a birthday card for a fellow classmate. I wasnt sure what he was into this year so I went with my gut and this is what I came up with. His mom loved it.

I signed up for an ATC swap over on SCS. The only stamps we were allowed to use were $1 stamps. I signed up for 2 spots. Here is my entry for spot #1. Hope you enjoy.

My BFF from high school is expecting.....

So I just found out that my BFF from high school is expecting her first child. She is due in July with a little boy. They are going to name him Wyatt. So as soon as I found out I got to work on some projects for her and the baby. Here is a little buggy that I made her using a rectangle metal planter. It turned out really cute. I hope she likes it. I filled it with baby wash clothes, bibs and pacifiers. I will post pictures of the other things that I make for her as soon as I can.

Im so sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I got the stomach flu and then a bad cold. In the mean time 2 of my kids got sick with ear infections and colds so we have had a house full of sicky's. So here is a card that I made awhile back. I hope you like it. Hopefully I will have some time to stamp again soon.

A week of Birthday's

The first week of February is a very busy week for my family. We celebrate 4 birthdays in a 5 day time period. My boyfriends birthday is on the 3rd, my uncle's is on the 5th, my boyfriend's sister's is on the 6th and my ex-husband (the father of my 2 girls) is on the 7th. These are the cards I made for them.

V-Day card for my boyfriend

This is the card I made for Valentine's Day for my boyfriend. It was really quick and easy. I started with a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square card. Then I punched four 2" squares out of patterned paper and matted each onto black cardstock. Then I used the SU circle scallop punch and an SU circle punch for the center. Then I added black dots down the side and red ribbon to the top. I think this card only took about 15 min to complete.
